1.The Stefen Salvator & Edward
The lead male character’s portrayal in both Twilight & The Vampire Diaries are almost same .As the Vampire Dairies were published in 1991 and the twilight series was in 2005 ,We can say twilight’s Edward is totally inspired by The Vampire Diaries Stephens character.
The way he talks, movement of his face and the character development everything .If you watch closely ,there is not difference among both the character’s running away tendencies from thier lover’s life.
respectively but they keep peeking their noses in theirs girlfriend’s business .Then being dissapear with the same dialogue “It is for your safety “.
2.Elena and Bella Anxiousness
In the series,Elena the main was character was involved in the trauma of her parents accident.She use to take pills to overcome the anxiety .But I never felt it was too over or being over dramatic
.In Twilight the way Bella speaks ,the anxiety expressions reminds me Elana .Even some dialogues are also resembled ,the pressure of achieving same as elena’s innocence ,in some scenes bella overreacts on things.
3.The Vampire Revealing Scene
It was quite shocking for someone,who already had watched Vampire Diaries after twilight .Not only the characters but some scene at the edge of twilight was very much copied with the vampire diaries .The scenes In the Woods ,The same dialogues when Edward revealed his true identity as The vampire was pretty much same when Stephan was revealing his identity to Elena.The similarity between Elena’s reaction with Bella’s was visible.
Elena’s Brainstorming while standing in front of the mirror after finding out the true identity of Stephen with all the flash backs of Stephen .Yet Again Bella’s research and then the flashbacks of incidents revealing Edward cullen’s true identity looked like this part they strongly got inspired with The Vampire Diaries .
4.The Past Stories
Victoria’s mind controlling actions, they featured in the 3rd installment of the Twilight Saga quite referred with Salvator brother’s configuration with Katherine .
The Katherine taking advantages of Demon’s emotions toward her in order to gain her own personal goals
5.Stefan and Elena’s Good Byes
Though,Vampire’s Diaries was 8 seasoned long with lots of curve inside the stories with multiple angles but still time to time lead characters Stephen and Elena ,always maneged to create an emotional scene while making decisions of leaving each other for good and next episode they are happily hanging out with each other .
Some how twilight New Moon to managed to achieve the separation between Edward and Bella more then a month,Still we can’t deny the fact that we had already seen that in The Vampire’s Diaries .
Bella in Twilight Eclipse
Unfortunately ,most of the non US and UK audience watched twilight Saga first ,Since it was big budge with heavy cinematography where they got more chances to show case the beauty of Forks and the near by areas.But Those who already watched The Vampire Diaries would feel Twilight Saga as short stories .Though ,Twilight has Robert Pattinson who is our present Batmen .But Demon & Stephen still getting lot of attention from OTT and enjoying the royalties as The vampire Diaries is still among the most watched series on Netflix .
As Super Fan of Fiction show’ s,I really liked both Twilight saga & The Vampire Diaries series.Twilight gave us very sweet memories in our Teen days .Both will the part of lives forever ,they entertained us by making us watch blood sucking monster falling in love with socially isolated girls(sarcasm).May be,we will get chances to see multiple reboot but none of them would create the magic ,that they already had created.
